He began shadowing prosthetists and found a use for his many talents. Having robotics experience and hand skills to create custom solutions he found a niche field that allowed him to use his skills. Adam attended The University of Pittsburgh to complete his Masters of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Adam is unique in that he specializes in upper limb care for patients that have been born with or have acquired a limb difference of the hand, below elbow, and above elbow levels. What drew Adam into focusing on upper limb prosthetics is the unique solutions that have to be custom made for each patient and allowing them to return to their lives with better function and improved social confidence. He continues to work with many individuals that are demanding of their prosthesis and enjoys the challenge to meet their needs.
