Ty J. Oswald C.P. holds a Bachelors of Sports Science at the University of Utah and Certificate of Prosthetics at Northwestern University School of Medicine. He is an American Board Certified Prosthetist with over 20 years of experience with all levels of amputations, specializing in microprocessor controlled knees and feet.

Ty has had the privilege to provide prosthetic care for Veterans with disabilities for 25 years in several different capacities. He has enjoyed working with the VA Health Care Systems in Salt Lake City, Utah, Lake City, Florida, and most recently in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ty was first introduced to the field of prosthetics when he lost his right leg above the knee to bone cancer when he was 18 years of age.    He has been fit with many prosthetic devices over the years and is most grateful for R&D that has brought technology to the forefront to improve function and comfort to the amputee world.

When Ty is not working, he enjoys water sports, camping, fishing, golfing, snorkeling and just spending time at the beach with friends and family.
